Cedarwood Atlas Essential Oil bears this intriguing fragrance that is not only camphorous but dry, sweet and woodsy as well whose origins is placed in Morocco and whose use could be found in the ancient Egyptian cultures through its many personal care applications.
An essential oil who blends well with anise, bergamot, cardamom, citronella, clary sage, cypress, eucalyptus, and others, its aromatherapeutic uses are vast. These uses include acne, dandruff, eczema, oily skin and hair, fungal infections, arthritis, rheumatism, respiratory disorders, cystitis, premenstrual syndrome, loss of menstruation outside of pregnancy, nervous tension, and stress-related disorders.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Do not confuse Cedarwood Atlas with cedar leaf (also botancially known as thuja). Use Cedarwood Atlas as an insect repellant, diluted with other oils for a relaxing massage oil, or even as a room freshener.
Essentially for aromatherapy use, you have to carefully dilute the essential oil with a carrier oil like jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond oil for other uses. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference sources for suggested dilution ratios. Natural essential oils are highly concentrated and should be used with care. Therefore, it should be stressed that you should always dilute the essential oils before any other use besides aromatherapy.
Keep the essential oils out of the reach of children, are not used internally or topically, and avoid contact of any essential oils with your eyes. If you are pregnant or lactating, always consult with a practitioner before using any essential oils.
