SUGGESTED USAGE
As an herbal supplement, take one to two capsules daily as needed for relief of occasional constipation, preferably at bedtime. Anthraquinone containing substances usually produce a soft to semi-fluid stool 6-12 hours after ingestion.
Caution: Do not use any Cascara product if you have abdominal pain, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcers, diarrhea or other gastrointestinal disease including abnormal cell growth, Crohn's Disease or ulcerative colitis. Discontinue use in the event of cramping, diarrhea or watery stools. Do not exceed recommended dosage unless under the guidance of a health care professional. Not for long-term use in excess of 8 days. If constipation persists, it is advisable to see a health care professional. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Discontinue if unusual symptoms occur
