Uses and Precautions:
Scrub your body back into its silky softness with a homemade Brown Scrub Body Scrub; just combine together 1/2 cup of Sea Salt, 3/4 cup of Maple Sugar, a cup of Sweet Almond oil, and your favorite essential oil in a jar with a tight-fitting lid so your body scrub can keep between luxurious scrubbing.
If you have normal skin, then give this Herbal Bath Oil a try: bring together 2/3 cup of Sweet Almond oil and 1/2 cup of dried Chamomile flowers; simply place the oil in a clean glass jar and add the Chamomile flowers, placing the lid back on the jar to let the flowers steep over night before straining the infused oil into another clean jar so you can remove the dried flowers and tighten the lid until you are ready to use this oil in your next bath.
Although Sweet Almond oil is safe to use, everybody should be reminded that this oil is made from Almonds; therefore, those who are prone to be allergic to nuts or are just sensitive to nuts should avoid using this oil.

PRODUCT REVIEW
As late as the 20th century, Sweet Almond oil was often used internally as well as externally as a medicine oil with the only stipulation that this oil must not be corrupted with the Bitter Almond oil since Bitter Almonds are known to be toxic while Sweet Almonds are safe to use and consume.
Appearing in the Early Bronze Age (3000 BC to 2000 BC), domesticated (Sweet) and Bitter Almonds are native to a region that stretches from Pakistan, westward to Syria, Palestine, and Turkey; yet it should be noted that, during the ancient times, Sweet Almonds were spread by humans along the shores of the Mediterranean, into the northern African and southern European areas, and (most recently) transported to other parts of the world, most notably California.
Claiming noble status, Almonds are mentioned in the Bible and archaeologists have even found a fistful of Almonds in King Tut's tomb (circa 1325 BC) even though the Almonds that were found in the tomb was of the Rose genus and closely resembled peaches. Often employed in making soaps, creams, and moisturizers, Sweet Almond oil has been used in treating dull complexions, itchy skin, skin inflammations, muscle pains, as well as balancing moisture inside the body.
