ProstaEase Tincture ProstaEase is used as a male prostate tonic to help prevent benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) that is common to most men in mid-life and on. It will help reduce prostate swelling, keep testosterone healthy and help maintain a healthy libido. It also helps the dull ache, urine dribbling, weak urine flow, waking at night to urinate and can help men who have the inability to maintain an erection.

How It Works
Saw Palmetto: In the early part of the 20th century, saw palmetto berry tea was commonly recommended by herbalists for a variety of urinary tract ailments in men. Come believed the berry increased sperm production and sex drive in men. The active ingredients consist of the liposterolic (fat-soluble) extract of saw palmetto provide concentrated amounts of free fatty acids and botanical sterols.
One study with a saw palmetto extract suggests that it reduces the amount of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) (an active form of testosterone) binding in the part of the prostate surrounding the urethra (the tube carrying urine from the bladder). Test tube studies suggest that saw palmetto weakly inhibits the action of 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to DHT; it also inhibits the actions of growth factors and inflammatory substances that may contribute to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Contrary to some opinions, saw palmetto does not have an estrogen-like effect in men bodies.
Saw Palmetto extract has also been combined with a Nettle root extract to successfully treat BPH. One trial using a combination of saw palmetto extract (320mg per day) and nettle root extract (240mg per day) showed positive actions on symptoms of BPH (e.g. improved urine flow, decreased nighttime urination, etc.) over a one year treatmen period.
No significant side effects have been noted in clinical trials with saw palmetto extracts. According to some clinical trials, saw palmetto extract does not appear to interfere with accurate measuring of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) - a marker for prostate cancer.
One test tube study found that saw palmetto did not prevent the release of PSA from prostate cells. At the time of writing, there were no well-known drug interactions with saw palmetto.
Ginkgo Biloba may help some men with Erectile Dysfunction by increasing blood fow to the penis. One double-blind trial found improvement in men taking 240mg per day of a standardized Ginkgo biloba extract (GBE) for nine months. A preliminary trial, involving 30 men who were experiencing ED as a result of mediction use (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and other medications), found that approximately 200mg per day of GBE had a positive effect on sexual function in 76% of the men.
Ginkgo is also well known for its effect on memory and thinking (cognitive function). It may enhance cognitive performance in healthy older adults, in people with age-related cognitive decline, and in people with Alzherimer disease.
This formula also contains Sarsaparilla root and Fresh turmeric root which aid in the easing of arthritic and muscle pains.
Red root (Ceanothus americanus) synonyms: New Jersey tea, Wild snowball. This is a half-hardy shrub growing to 4 or 5 feet high. It is astringent, antispasmodic, expectorant and sedative; used in asthma, chronic bronchitis, whooping-cough, consumption, and dysentery; also as a mouth-wash and argle; supportive to the lymphatic system; recurring viral conditions, liver congestion and sticky blood.
Sarsparilla: In Mexico, sarsaparilla was used by herbalists for rheurnatism, cancer, skin diseases, and a host of other conditions. At the tum of the 20th century, there were reports of its use by herbalists for the treatment of leprosy. Sarsaparilla was formerly a major flavoring agent in root beer.
Sarsaparilla contains steroidal saponins, such as sarsasapogenin, which may mimic the action of some human hormones; this property remains undocumented, however. Sarsaparilla also contains phytosterols, such as beta-sitosterol, which may contribute to the anti-inflammatory effect of this herb. Reports have shown anti-inflammatory and liver-protecting effects for this herb.
Fresh tumeric root: In Ayurvedic medicine, turmeric was prescribed for treatment of many conditions, including poor vision, rheumatic pains, and coughs, and to increase milk production. Native peoples of the Pacific sprinkled the dust on their shoulders during ceremonial dances and used it for numerous medical problems ranging from constipation to skin diseases, Turmeric was used for numerous intestinal infections and ailments in Southeast Asia. The active constituent is known as curcumin. It has been shown to have a wide range of therapeutic actions.
First, it protects against free radical damage because it is a strong antioxidant.
Second, it reduces inflammation by lowering histamine levels and possibly by increasing production of natural cortisone by the adrenal glands.
Third, it protects the liver from a number of toxic compounds.
Fourth, it has been shown to reduce platelets from clumping together, which in turn improves circulation and may help protect against atherosclerosis. There are also test-tube and animal studies showing a cancer-preventing action of curcumin.
In one of these studies, curcumin effectively inhibited metastasis (uncontrolled spread) of melanoma (skin cancer) cells. This may be due to its antioxidant activity in the body.
A preliminary trial in people with rhermatoid arthritis found curcumin to be somethat useful for reducing inflammation and symptoms such as pain and stiffness. A separate double-blind trial found that curcumin was superior to placebo or phenylbutazone (an NSAID) for alleviating post-surgical inflammation.
