A very strong aphrodisiac formula of Muira Puama-{Ptychopetalum Olacoides} Root & Stem, Catuaba- {Erythroxylon Catuaba} bark, & Sarsaparilla-{Smilax officinalis} root. Has been shown in 2 clinical studies to inhibit the Binding of Testosterone to a protein in the Bloodstream . {SHBG-Sex Hormone Binding Globulin}. The job of SHBG is to bind to the testosterone & transport it to the kidneys for excretion. Since once testosterone is bound to this protein it is no longer active, by inhibiting its binding, gradually testosterone levels could start to rise. Thus making more testosterone available for stimulating muscle growth & reproductive activity; though there may be other factors, which may need to be addressed. Also it is necessary to consider the age of the man considering the use of Muira Puama because as Dr. Ronald Hoffman states in the article on testosterone attached below, "testosterone production declines with every decade of life." In fact, the Caboclos Indians, the tribe in the Amazon jungles where Muira Puama was first discovered being used, do not generally live past 55 years of age-(jungle life is kinda rough). So the Caboclos are using Muira Puama in their 30s, 40s, & 50s. This may be why our experience has been that Muira Puama is not so useful to men over the age of 60 since in general their testosterone production has declined to a point where preventing it from being excreted is not going to do very much. For men over 60 we recommend Vaso-Lene, which is a Nitric oxide producer or a combination of Vaso-Lene & Horsepower #3. That is unless such men have been engaged in a program of regular exercise. since it is well known that exercise stimulates testosterone production.
While this is the strongest extract of Muira Puama that you can find, it is not a drug in the sense that it usually does not work the first day. In approx. 3 to 5 days providing that you are not inhibiting testosterone with something else you are taking, testosterone levels should start to rise. {You may call for a list of materials, which inhibit testosterone}.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Take 20-30 drops under tongue before breakfast & after dinner-do not mix with water or juice. Unfortunately, because it is such a concentrated extract; Horsepower #3 tastes somewhere in-between cheap brandy & creosote. Depending upon response from the above dose adjust downwards to occasional use or upwards to 4 times per day.
