SUGGESTED USAGE
Apply 20 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours for continuous protection and after swimming, exercise or twel drying. Avoid eye area.

Remember to take care of your skin in the sun with these sun facts:
Avoid sun exposure during the peak hours between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. You can cut down on the overall exposure received by spending intermittent periods of time in the shade.
The sun's rays are more intense in tropical and semi-tropical locations because exposure becomes more direct as you get closer to the equator. Intensity is also increased in higher elevations where the atmosphere is thinner. Extra protection for skin and eyes is necessary in both cases. Choose a higher SPF in these geographical locations.
The continuing depletion of the ozone layer results in increased exposure to UV rays. Surfaces such as water, sand, snow, and pavement all reflect and intensify exposure. Because of this you can still get burned even when wearing a hat or sitting in the shade.
Wear sunscreen even on cloudy or hazy days. UV rays can penetrate these atmospheric conditions and cause sunburn.
UVB rays are stronger in the summer. Choose a higher SPF during those months. UVA remains more or less constant throughout the year.
Many medications, including certain antibiotics, heart and blood pressure medicines, antihistamines and antidepressants, can cause photosensitive reactions when the user is exposed to sunlight. This can result in an unusual "sunburn", or a rash or other allergic-type reaction to the skin. Individual sensitivities vary widely and may not happen to every user, every time. Consult your physician or pharmacist before sun exposure when using ANY medication.
Some fragrances can also cause photosensitive reactions wherever they are applied to the skin. Examples of these are bergamot, citron, lavender, sandalwood, and musk.

 Anonymous "I highly recommend it!"
This is the only sunless tanning lotion I've ever found that actually smells pleasant. It is not unscented, but has a nice fruity, coconutty smell like most sunscreens. When it interacts with your skin, the smell changes a little, but is still good. You could actually go out in public wearing this and not stink up the place. It applied evenly - I got no streaks. Just a nice, golden tan, I highly recommend it!

I've tried every self-tanner out there-St. Tropex, Clarins, Clinique, Peter Thomas Roth, etc. and the scent always gives me an asthma attack. This is the only product whose scent didn't make me ill!
It has a light tropical scent, which disappears when you put it on. It didn't clog my pores and is a definite staple!

I've been using various brands of tan-in-a-can for years. This is the best one I've tried! I love the color it gives, and it's cheaper than brands that don't work as well. I hope this isn't one of those products that disappear from the market as soon as I discover it, as I will be buying it again. (You do have to be careful to apply it correctly. I've found that up-and-down, then sideways rubbing; repeat until absorbed, works well.)

I bought this product because it contains SPF, so I wouldn't need another sunscreen product on top of it. It provides a nice, even tan. And the pleasant smell is a big plus - most others smell like gym socks!

Please don't stop selling this! I am very fair and have thin skin, so self-tanners look artificial on me. I love the light golden brown color it gives me on my face, neck and hands. Too light for the entire body, but it is the best face self tanner I have found. If you apply it 3 days in a row, you will only need to use it 2 or 3 times a week after that.

I love this product! It gives me the best most even tan I've ever gotten from a bottle. My tan always lasts for at least five days through working out and showering. It definitely smells better than any other tanner too. I'm ordering my second bottle right now!

I love this product. And I've used them all, I think. I'm extremely short on time, but I can't use the foam/mousse products b/c they give me a rash. This product seems to have fewer chemicals, a pleasant smell (my husband thinks it smells like vanilla crme cake icing!), and, while it takes time to soak in, it's quicker than most while moisturizing the skin. I don't mark tanners off for uneven results, unless they are really hard to work with, since you need to be careful with them all currently. I love the color this one gives, I wish it lasted longer! Definitely great for faces if nothing else. And the price is right.

This product is GREAT for faces. Bodywise, it was streaky and uneven. I may not have applied it well, but a second or third coat should cover up most mistakes. Also, I noticed that it left certain parts of my body yellow after the first application, which might have been due to the genetic makeup of my skin. However, I'd still recommend it to pale skinned people. It gives you a very natural, light tan. Not for dark tan lovers. The smell is also nice, not too greasy either.
