FAQ
If one is taking a Multiple Vitamin that contains folic acid is it still safe to take a B complex that contains folic acid?
It should be fine to take both as long as the total amount of folic acid in both supplements does not exceed 1,000 mcg., as taking a higher dose may mask a vitamin B-12 deficiency.
Are your multivitamins gluten-free?
Virtually all our products are gluten-free. Some will state so on the label of the box or packaging that it is contained in. If there is any question, please call us and we'll be happy to confirm.
Which multivitamin should I take based on my age?
If you are over 50 years of age it is recommended that you take a multivitamin that contains no iron unless your doctor has suggested otherwise (ex: Essential 50+, Essential Man 50+, Essential Woman 50+). If you are under 50 you should take a multivitamin with iron (ex: The multi included in the Maximum Pack, Men's Pack, Women's Pack or our Essential Balance, Essential Daily, Essential Mega, Essential Woman multi's).
How many packets can I consume each day?
Please only take one pack per day. You can take the tablets all at one meal, or split them up between two different meals. Our consumers usually find it most convenient to take the entire content of each packet at one meal.
Why are there other ingredients beside vitamins and minerals listed on the packaging?
The additional ingredients are used in tabletting the vitamins and minerals. They have technical functions such as binders, lubricants, disintegrants, and flow agents.
How old do you have to beto start taking your multivitamins?
Our multivitamins are made for people ages 12 and over.
