Parsley is grown in two forms, the curly leaf variety and the Italian flat leaf form. While the curly leaf form is commonly seen as a garnish to foods, the flat leaf form of the herb is often preferred by chefs for its ease in cleaning and preparation for use in dishes, and some think that it has a superior flavor to the curly leaf.
